“2022 Love Makes Whole Cleft Mission in Vietnam” was co-hosted by the Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation and the Chang Gung Craniofacial Center. It took place in the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital and the Odonto Maxillo Facial Hospital from the 4th to 10th Dec 2022. A team of 16 people were participating in this training program includes personnel from the NCF, medical detachments from the Chang Gung, international partners from German and Japan.

The training program includes craniofacial surgical demonstrations and medical case reports conferences. A total of 56 surgeries were demonstrated, including cleft lip repair, cleft palate repair, alveolar bone grafting, and orthognathic surgery. Two medical case reports conferences were held, with approximately 40 Vietnamese, Taiwanese,and German craniofacial medical personnel attending. Besides, 140 Nansaoalveolar moldings were donated in this action. A press conference was held to showcase the results of this collaboration program.
