In order to improve medical care ,pamphlets with
information about cleft lip and palate or microtia patients were
published. Lectures on craniofacial deformities were given to pediatricians
and obstetricians. Panel discussions were given for indigent patients. |
| Four seminars on surgery , feeding and nursing of cleft lip and
palate patients were organized for public health nurses every two
years. An educational video was produced for cleft lip and palate
patients. These tapes were extremely well done and have been an integral
part of the cleft program. |
